Mexican Border 1913-1917

In February 1913 the regiment moved from its permanent stations to Galveston, Tex. as part of the Second Division’s mobilization. From Galveston the regiment sailed to Vera Cruz in April 1914. During this time a detachment remained at Ft. Crook.
